Description

Dr. Rosamund Garrett, the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art's Chief Curator, and curator of the exhibition, will lead a guided close-look and discussion of the MBMA's latest show, Andrea Morales: Roll Down Like Water . Showcasing a decade's work by Peruvian-American photographer, and Memphis resident, Andrea Morales, this exhibition features sixty-five captivating images of Memphis and the surrounding region that chart new, sustainable paths in photojournalism, while reflecting upon identity, community, and the power of storytelling. Dr. Garrett will take you behind the scenes, delving into the process of making the exhibition and the catalogue while introducing audiences to the moments of turbulence, stillness, darkness, and beauty captured in Morales's images.
