Colorful Chainmaille Ornament  

November 23, 2024  

10 am-5 pm

 

Create gorgeous chainmaille pieces using a variety of weaves that are perfect for ornaments, package decorations, or even jewelry!  

 

You'll learn several weaves, including using scales, to create designs such as wreaths, stars, poinsettias, and snowflakes. You'll receive printed step-by-step instructions for each and there will be additional ornament kits available for purchase so you can make more of your favorites.  

 

All materials are provided for you to complete four pieces, and tools will be available for use in class. If you have your own preferred smooth-jawed chain-nosed and flat-nosed pliers, you are welcome to bring those to use in class. Please bring a sack lunch or order from the on-site café.

What to expect:  

  • This class will teach you how to weave and create pieces with chainmaille.  
  • You will create four ornaments, including a wreath, stars, poinsettias, and snowflakes.

  • Your cost covers this 7-hour class with instruction.  
  • All materials and tools are provided.  

 

Things to know:  

  • Additional ornament kits will be available for purchase in class.  
  • Please bring your own lunch or be prepared to order lunch either on-site or off-site.  
  • You are welcome to bring your own smooth-jawed chain-nosed or flat-nosed pliers.
