Bizarre showgirls unite! Learn how to integrate the sexy and the silly in Brandi Glass' "Comedy Burlesque 101" workshop! Combine techniques based in clown, improv, and comedic acting with the fundamentals of burlesque as a starting point for creating comedic burlesque routines. In addition to being a part of the class, all participants will receive a 20 minute private phone consultation with Brandi to talk through ideas for existing or future acts. Come dressed to move. All levels of experience welcome. Class is open to all! Class is taught on the motto that, "All bodies are burlesque bodies."
About the Instructor
Brandi Glass is an actor, improv comedienne, and burlesque dancer who's been teasing her way across stages all around the world since 2010. Her unique brand of sexy comedy has been featured at the Mile High Burlesque Festival, Hollywood Burlesque Fest, and the inaugural Weirdlesque Festival. She is the producer of Retro Peepshow, Vegas' grooviest burlesque revue, and performs nightly as an emcee at Lost Spirits Distillery, rated the #1 distillery experience in the world. A graduate of the Theatre School at DePaul University, she has trained with the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theater, Second City, and the Bleach Improv Training Center.
