The first concert of the 2023-2024 Concert Series is a flute/piano concert-presentation of a flute family by Iva Ugrčić (flute) and Satoko Hayami (piano). Iva Ugrčić was born in Serbia. She has received her education in her native country, France, and the USA. Japanese pianist Satoko Hayami has been performing in Canada, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, and the USA. They have met in the USA and formed a duo that presents various educational programs and amazing concerts. The duo will present romantic and twenty first century music for flute piccolo, alto, tenor, and bass at 2:00 PM on October 15th.
