What You Will Learn
In this popular series, we break down cooking basics into bite-sized portions. Whether you’re looking to hone your knife skills or make different types of sauces, these classes will teach you how to move in the kitchen like a pro.
In this 101 class, our chef instructor will teach you the proper way to use your kitchen knives. We'll even show you how to sharpen them like an expert! From slicing to cutting, dicing and mincing, you’ll leave so much more confident than when you walked in!
What To Expect
You will be utilizing your newly learned knife skills to chop an assortment of fruits in order to prepare a Fruit Salad.
- Instructor: Chef Alex
- Length: Approximately 2 hours
- Format: Hands-On. Get ready to stir up your inner chef as you work with other students, typically in groups of four people, guided by the chef instructor. You’ll be standing and cooking during the class, so please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes and have long hair tied back. Make sure to bring your appetite because you will enjoy all the dishes created during the class.
- Location: First floor
- Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
