Virginia Youth Ballet presents the classic ballet, Coppélia. We are excited to announce we will be offering our supporters a virtual ticket that will allow you to view the live performance from the comfort of your home for $20 per show. This is not an in person ticket.
This light-hearted story is joyfully told through classical ballet and folk dance. A magical toymaker’s lifelike doll has fooled a local boy (Franz) into falling in love with the doll, despite being engaged to Swanhilda. Swanhilda and her friends seek to uncover the truth of the doll, and by changing places with the doll, Swanhilda shows Franz his misplaced affection. In the end, all is forgiven and the two are married. Coppélia is an enchanting ballet, perfect for audiences young or old.
The live stream, via YouTube, will began approximately 15 minutes prior to the show starting. The link is valid for use on one device. The performance will last approximately 1 hour.
Your live stream link will be sent to the email you provide during checkout. A digital copy of the performance program will be emailed to you, closer to the show date.
NOTE: This will be streamed live for your selected performance, so please plan to watch the performance at that time.
