Join us for Cosmic Conversations, a special interactive evening of exploration and discovery at the Robert Ferguson Observatory! This unique event offers an intimate, small-group experience, ensuring plenty of time for questions and in-depth discussions about the observatory and fascinating astronomical topics.
Your night begins with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our observatory, where you’ll get an insider’s look at our telescopes and instruments and learn how we unlock the mysteries of the cosmos. Then, join our expert astronomers for a guided Q&A session, where no question is too big or too small. We’ll have a variety of topics prepared for discussion and we encourage you to bring questions of your own. Cosmic questions are not required for entry but now’s your chance to ask anything about black holes, distant galaxies, or the origins of our universe. Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the cosmos, this event is perfect for all ages and experience levels. Our knowledgeable astronomers will do their best to answer your queries about the night sky, space exploration, and everything in between.
As the night deepens, step up to our telescopes to view distant galaxies, nebulae, planets, and other celestial wonders. Finally, to keep you warm while you stargaze, we’ll be serving complimentary tea and hot cocoa.
Whether you’re a lifelong astronomy enthusiast or just beginning your cosmic journey, Cosmic Conversations promises a night of wonder, learning, and unforgettable views of the universe! Bring your curiosity, and we’ll provide the universe!
