Crocheted Lace (Saturday Afternoons)

Description

This three week course is designed to help the novice crocheter tackle their first intermediate lace project. We will cover reading crochet charts, identifying your stitches, the importance of blocking your work, and tackling the sort of advanced stitches you’re likely to encounter in more advanced lace projects. Students should be comfortable with making basic crochet stitches, including chaining, sc, hdc, and dc stitches.

Your class fee includes six hours of instruction, a printed lace shawl pattern and two balls of Jody Long ALBA in your choice of color way. Students will also need a size USG (4mm) crochet hook, a tapestry needle, scissors, and note taking supplies.

While our group classes are open to students aged 7 and up, we ask that all children under 14 be accompanied by a responsible adult on the premises for the duration of class. 

Please note that registration fees are non-refundable. Transfer may be available to another session of the same class up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time. While we make every effort to accommodate emergency changes in your schedule, we cannot guarantee availability in other class sessions or make-up instruction beyond the scheduled office hours announced in class.
