Curl Quest Academy is a business designed to help parents and guardians of mixed race and African American children take better care of their children's hair. We offer 2-hour group classes that provide a style mannequin, quality products, tools and a licensed stylist to teach parents three styles along with management and healthy hair techniques.

What age group is this class designed for?
This class is designed for parents of children from infancy to pre-teen, focusing on the unique hair care needs of mixed and black children.
Do I need to bring my child to the class?
Bringing your child is optional. The class is structured to teach you techniques that you can practice at home and a mannequin will be provided to practice on.
What products will we be using during the class?
We will use a variety of products tailored for curly, coily, and kinky hair types, including oils, leave-in treatments, and styling products.
Do I need to bring any products or tools with me?
No, we will provide all necessary products and tools during the class. However, if you have specific products you use at home, feel free to bring them.
How long is each class session?
Each class session is approximately 2 hours long, with time for Q&A at the end.
Will I learn different hairstyles for my child's hair?
Yes, the class will cover 3 simple and healthy hairstyles as well as tips for maintaining these styles.
Is the class suitable for parents with no prior experience in hair care?
Absolutely! The class is designed for all skill levels, from beginners to those with some experience.
Will you address common hair care issues like dryness or breakage?
Yes, we will discuss common hair care challenges and provide solutions and tips to address issues like dryness, breakage, and tangling.
Can I take notes or record the class?
You are welcome to take notes. Recording the class is generally not allowed to protect the privacy of all participants, but we will provide handouts and materials for you to take home.
Is there a follow-up or advanced class available?
At the end of the class, you will receive a coupon to use with the teacher at their own shop, any follow up questions regarding more advance styles can be discussed with your stylist. At this time we do not offer advanced classes.

The cost of the class is $250 including all product, tools and practice mannequin.
