Danger Bird is the Mid-Atlantic's premier Neil Young tribute band.
Launched in 2016, Danger Bird has been packing venues and thrilling audiences ever since their very first performance. Comprising five seasoned veterans of the DMV (DC, MD, VA) live music scene, their experience and professionalism ensure consistently excellent and entertaining shows. Drawing from Neil's acoustic days in the Toronto folk scene, through the golden sound of the Buffalo Springfield in L.A., the proto-grunge of Crazy Horse, the shimmering vocals of CSNY, the country roots of The Stray Gators and The International Harvesters, all the way to the raw energy of The Promise of the Real, Danger Bird digs deep into the catalog of one of the greatest songwriters ever. They take their audience on "Journey Through the Past", spinning the story of Neil Young and his music. Their vocal harmonies and faithful arrangements will have you believing you are hearing the great man himself.
The Patty Reese Band
Known for her Americana Blues style, Mid-Atlantic favorite Patty Reese has won 17 Washington Area Music Association Awards, (Wammies), including Artist of the Year and two time Songwriter of the Year. Her virtuosic, dynamic vocal ease, solid guitar work, and engaging stage presence has audiences, critics and DJ's giving high praises and international airplay. Patty and her band have performed at major venues and festivals locally and abroad and have supported international headliners in major venues and festivals to include: Beth Hart, Dr. John, Tab Benoit, Peter Wolf, Delbert McClinton, Greg Allman, Buddy Guy, Aretha Franklin, Little Feat, Ruthie Foster, Deanna Bogart and more! Patty's newest CD "Lift Us Up" reached the #1 position of the Americana National Roots Music Reports! Her previous releasee "Let in the Sun" reached the #4 position on the National Roots Music Reports Contemporary Blues Charts, the #15 position worldwide with 5 singles in the top 40! Her release "Strong Medicine", held the #1 position in the ADP Charts for over 3 weeks and has been played on over 700 stations worldwide.
