Dave Ricketts is a guitarist and singer focusing primarily on Manouche Jazz, Hot Jazz, Early Country Music/Americana in contrast to his college years that focused on the Classical Guitar. He is the founder (established 2002) bandleader for the popular San Francisco based band, Gaucho (gauchojazz.com) and has written many pieces and songs- “Angel” and “Part-time Sweetheart” are among the most popular. Songs (recorded with his National Reso-rocket) are soon coming out in a new film “Stationed At Home” stationedathome.com
His newest release is a country/blues single: Please Come Home for Christmas dropping on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and the other streaming services November 28th, 2024
