EXPRESSIVE ARTS FOR ADULTS
MONDAY 2 OPPORTUNITIES 9am – 12pm OR 1pm – 4pm
Will be participant led, supported by professionals and include a variety of opportunities which may include: drama, improv, dance, art, painting, sculpting, creative writing, theatre, spoken work, puppets, art film, filmography, photography, music, media, and other ideas selected by participants.
ACTIVE COMMUNITY LIFE
TUESDAY 2 OPPORTUNITIES 9am – 12pm OR 1pm – 4pm
Will be participant led, supported by professionals and include opportunities such as: Active outdoor time (weather permitting) fitness and Tai Chi classes, local parks, hiking, Saputo Court at Alder, walking track, geo cashing, design your won fitness routine, healthy living activities, healthy menu planning, Zumba, stretching, self care etc.
COMMUNITY BUILDING AND VOLUNTEERING
WEDNESDAY 2 OPPORTUNITIES 9am – 12pm OR 1pm – 4pm
Will be participant led, supported by professionals and include opportunities such as: personal portfolio’s, resume/ interview skills, transportation practise, volunteering, community beautification, pen pals, random acts of kindness, community gardening, various volunteering opportunities around Orangeville, etc..
SOCIAL WELLNESS
THURSDAY 2 OPPORTUNITIES 9am – 12pm OR 1pm – 4pm
Will be participant led, supported by professionals and include opportunities such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, Art with Brooke, games afternoons, coffee club, living world/outdoor rec., visiting local amenities such as the mall, thrifting, visiting the library, etc.
