Detroit-Durham Connection is ready to kick off the new year with a high octane booty music oriented show! Sonic Essence and The Fruit are pleased to present a brand new edition of Detroit-Durham Connection highlighting the booty era of Detroit music.
Last year, we brought four veteran DJ's from the Detroit scene who truly embody the spirit and soul of Detroit techno. We followed this up with a celebration of the contributions of BIPOC femme and nonbinary in the electronic scene. This iteration of DDC will feature an eclectic range of music within the booty music umbrella, featuring an all vinyl set from DJ Psycho and a refreshingly eclectic set from Blueprint cofounder blackmoonchild! Get ready for the return of the Motor City sound on January 21, when we will dance all night to sounds brought to you by both established and young talent from both cities.

We have so much to learn from the decades long experiences of Detroit Techno Militia member DJ Psycho. We are excited to hear the insights and experiences from both DJ Psycho and rising star blackmoonchild, who represents the newest generation of Detroit artists.
