Arts Alive is a free enrichment program where students in grades 2-5 can express themselves and be creative during afterschool hours. With talented staff and students, Arts Alive is a safe space to bring the artistic passions of our students to life through the visual, musical and performing arts. All ticket proceeds help fund our costume, props and set design budget for the show.
Description
““Dia De Los Muertos” takes the audience on a vibrant journey through the rich tapestry of Hispanic heritage and culture. The performance begins with a family honoring their loved ones, then flows into the joy of a local quinceañera, the flavors of a community food festival, and finally, the energy of an international celebration with dance and music that makes you want to get loud.
Playwright and Director of Arts Alive, Mr. Dopwell Hall has collaborated closely with the diverse Hispanic voices within our Title I school to ensure their culture is accurately represented in the performance.

The show includes several elements of Spanish dialogue, dance and songs for a night to remember!
