Description

“Dia De Los Muertos” takes the audience on a vibrant journey through the rich tapestry of Hispanic heritage and culture. The performance begins with a family honoring their loved ones, then flows into the joy of a local quinceañera, the flavors of a community food festival, and finally, the energy of an international celebration with dance and music that  makes you want to get loud.

Playwright and Director of Arts Alive, Mr. Dopwell Hall has collaborated closely with the diverse Hispanic voices within our Title I school to ensure their culture is accurately represented in the performance.

Four family members remember their Abuelo through his photo on the offrenda.
Explore the rhythms of Hispanic dance. Bachata, Cumbia, Salsa, Merenge and more.
A sweet sixteen may be sweet, but nothing beats a Quinceñera where you‘re living your dreams!

The show includes several elements of Spanish dialogue, dance and songs for a night to remember!
