Share Westchester Country Day School is an independent, college preparatory school for students in grades pre-K through 12 located in High Point, North Carolina. Description
Come enjoy the Westchester Country Day School fall musical production of Disney's Moana Jr., featuring more than 70 students in grades 1-12. Show dates are Friday, Nov. 11-13, 2022, with performances held at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Based on the 2016 Disney film Moana, this thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana Jr. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us. Music and lyrics are by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, & Mark Mancina, the book is adapted by Susan Soon He Stanton, and music and orchestrations are adapted and arranged by Ian Weinberger.
