History is brimming with stories of and influenced by alcohol. During the 2024 season of Drink Your History, Wornall/Majors is exploring four more historic topics through the lens of libations. Each event includes a brief presentation, plus three to four thematic tasting cups or mixed drinks. Tickets are $30/$40 each or $100 for the whole series (A $30 savings!).
Drink Your History – Birth of Celebrity
Buffalo Bill Cody was one of the first influencers. Alexander Majors rose to fame as one of the founders of the mythical Pony Express. Uncover the history of celebrity in the United States on Alexander’s property while trying drinks created by modern Kansas City celebrities.

Matt Stewart – Emmy award-winning anchor/reporter on Fox 4 and author of “Unique Eats and Eateries of Kansas City.”
Gary Neal Johnson – Actor at the KC Repertory Theatre, Ebenezer Scrooge in the A Christmas Carol
Katie Marby Van Dieren – CEO and Curator of The Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair and founder of Shop Local KC
