Description
Step into the boots of a Civil War soldiers. Come to the John Wornall House Museum, which served as a battlefield hospital during the battle, and immerse yourself in the history of thelargest Civil War battles fought west of the Mississippi.
This drop-in event invites you to interact with a reenactor who will share about the everyday life of a solider. Get a close-up look at period medical instruments, battle artifacts, and hear accounts from the Wornall family. Learn how wounded soldiers were treated in the very rooms where they were cared for—and feel the weight of history come alive.
The event will take place on Wednesday, August 13 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
While advanced registration is not required, it is appreciated.
