Description
PlayForge offers an introduction to the world of Dungeons & Dragons, a tabletop role-playing game where you create a story with friends using imagination, dice, and hours of fun. At our new players night, we'll teach you how to play the game and how to start your own adventure, touching on everything from character creation to combat in this beginner-friendly program.
This game is designed for people who've never played, people who've only played a few times, and people who haven't played for a long time (20 or 30 or 40 years). Feel free to join more than one of our new players' events, until you feel ready to jump into a campaign.
We'll have pre-rolled characters available, or bring your own D&D 5th Edition 1st-level character. We start playing at 6pm. Come 30 minutes early for orientation or to get help with a newly rolled character. The entrance fee includes a miniature for your character and a set of dice.
Our community is inclusive, so players and characters of all genders are welcome. We do offer events for younger kids, but this game is designed for players 15 and up.
