ABOUT SMITH + ANDERSEN
We are committed to sustainable design and engineering. This commitment is central to, but also extends far beyond, our everyday work. Along with many industry leaders, Smith + Andersen supports responsible stewardship of trees as part of our larger sustainability goals to lessen the effects of climate change. From the very first Eco Jam in 2013, we wanted the donations from this event to go directly to planting trees so that we can cultivate tomorrow’s healthy forests. That’s why we partnered with Forest Recovery Canada (a division of Forests Ontario) – an organization that is dedicated to tree planting, stewardship, forest education and awareness. Through this collaboration, the Eco Jam event has already planted more than 15,500 trees.
