Description

A toast to 100 years of helping Canadians with disabilities!

2022 is going to be a big year for Easter Seals across the country as Easter Seals Canada will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary! One of the special events Easter Seals Nova Scotia has planned to celebrate is the 100th Anniversary Gala, to be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022. The 100th Anniversary Gala will highlight stories directly from people living with disabilities of how Easter Seals Nova Scotia has provided assistance and support throughout their lives.

This dinner event will host 400 people at the beautiful Halifax Convention Centre in downtown Halifax, hosted by three-time Paralympic Games medalist Paul Tingley and Easter Seals Nova Scotia Board Member Michelle Mahoney. The event will start at 6 pm for a Cocktail Reception, with dinner at 7 pm. There will be a Silent Auction and exciting Raffle prizes.  We are also thrilled to have renowned Canadian Musician Terry Kelly providing entertainment!

If you are interested in purchasing a full table, the tables will be set for 10 ppl.

Current Public Health Protocols will be observed.

Easter Seals Nova Scotia

Easter Seals Nova Scotia is the primary destination for those seeking information, support, mobility equipment, recreation programs, and skills development opportunities. We advocate for a barrier-free Nova Scotia and provide top-quality services promoting mobility, inclusion and independence for Nova Scotians with disabilities. 30% of Nova Scotians live with a disability, the highest percentage amongst all Canadian provinces.

Annually, more than 2,700 Nova Scotians and their families participate in or benefit from our programs and services. As a provincial organization, we serve Nova Scotians from Yarmouth to Cape Breton.

We bridge the gap between Nova Scotians with disabilities and the programs and services that can meet their goals, aspirations and access to full participation in their communities.
