Eclipse On The Farm

Description

Join us for an OUT OF THIS WORLD celestial event! During the total solar eclipse, the Moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun, blocking the Sun's light completely and casting a shadow on the Earth. This spectacular event can’t be observed everywhere, but Erie County is lucky enough to be one of the few locations in the WORLD to see this. The next total solar eclipse in the United States will not occur until 2044, and we will not be on the totality course until 2144. So, don’t miss the fun-filled day that Port Farms and Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales have planned! Our location offers the PERFECT backdrop to view the eclipse with an unobstructed view!  

All Day Fun On The Farm:  

• Attractions included with admission: Goats, Tiny Town, wagon rides, ropes course, jumping pillows, slides, ball zones, game garden, barnyard fort and tire fort  
• Enjoy eclipse themed flights at our on-site brewery, Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales 
• Live music all day: Mayflower Hill in Events Barn (11AM-2PM), DJ Razz on Front Porch Stage (12-4PM), Acoustic music by Dan Douglas Duo in brewery (4-7PM) 
• Food will be available to purchase from Jerry’s Smokehouse & Grill, Harvest Barn Café and food trucks (Marty's Nacho Mama, Pgh Crepes, Cousins Maine Lobster). 
• Warm up next to campfires located throughout the farm. 
• We will have eclipse themed merch available for purchase.  

Admission:
Admission is per vehicle and includes admission for everyone in your vehicle. 

• Standard sized vehicles & pickup trucks: $75 per vehicle  
• Oversized vehicles (extended vans, RVs, campers): $150 per vehicle 

Overnight Stay (includes admission): 
No hookups or showers. No tent camping. You are welcome to use the indoor facilities while the brewery is open. Port-a-potties will be available. 

• Saturday, April 6  – Monday, April 8: $250 
• Sunday, April 7 – Monday, April 8: $200 
• Check in: You will check in at our on-site brewery Poverty Knob during the following times: Saturday 12-9PM or Sunday 12-8PM. If you will be arriving at another time and unable to check in at the brewery during those hours, please email emily@portfarms.com prior to your arrival for instructions. 
  Check Out: Tuesday April 9th by 12:00 PM
• No RV size limit
• Generators are permitted

Make a weekend out of it!

We will be kicking off this event on Friday, April 5th with FREE entertainment all weekend! Tickets are ONLY required for the April 8th event. 

• Friday, April 5th: Karaoke Night inside our on-site brewery (Poverty Knob) from 5-8:30PM
• Saturday, April 6th: Live music by Northern Accents inside Events Barn from 5-8PM
• Sunday, April 7th: Live music by Mark & Bushan from 1-4PM inside brewery
• Sunday, April 7th: 80's Dance from 5-8PM inside brewery

Things To Know:  

• The parking lot opens at 9AM on April 8th. 
• The farm and select attractions are open 11AM – 5PM.  
• The Brewery is open 11AM – 8PM. 
• The entire solar eclipse lasts approximately 2 hours and 28 minutes. Totality begins on the farm at 3:16PM and ends at 3:19PM. 
• The first 1,000 guests will receive complimentary  ISO-certified eclipse glasses. Glasses should be worn to safely view the eclipse. Please do not view the eclipse without proper eyewear.  
• There will be warming stations (campfires) located throughout the farm. 
• We will have inside spaces available to hangout in (Events Barn and brewery).  
• This event is rain or shine. Refunds will not be offered. 

Event T-Shirts:

Pre-sales have ended. If you preordered a shirt, you can pickup onsite at Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales on one of the following dates. We will not ship shirts.

• Friday, April 5th: 12-9PM
• Saturday, April 6th: 12-9PM
• Sunday, April 7th: 12-8PM
• Monday, April 8th: 10AM - 1PM

We will have shirts for sale during the event, but sizes/quantities are not guaranteed.
