Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity to connect with your body and community with free form expressive dance. We will be honoring the container of the space, which includes:

Our featured artist for this dance is Keena Maya!
The depths of Keena Maya's sound are incantations, drawing us down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, and invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise. She is a sound artist, producer, DJ, and instrumentalist based in New York. She passionately creates intentional, ritualistic dance experiences - embodiment over substances to awaken deep states of transformation. Her debut EP, releasing in 2023, transmits ancestral melodic bass music intended to expand our capacity to love and awaken the magic within.
Keena Maya is half of the live electronic/acoustic ritual bass project b e i n g - s o u n d with her partner Joro-Boro. She is a pillar of the feminine-powered Collective BAE and an international ecstatic dance DJ.
