Description
Expert interpreters tell of Eleanor Roosevelt's life on Campobello Island, and of her years of activism and public service, all accompanied by Eleanor's favourite blend of tea and delicious cookies.
"Eleanor's Tea" takes place twice daily: free seating at 11:00 am Atlantic Time (there are no reservations for this seating; tickets can only be picked up on the day of the event at the Visitor Centre), and the reserved seating at 3:00 pm Atlantic Time. The event lasts approximately 60 minutes.
HOW TO GET THERE
Wells-Shober Cottage is located across the main road (Route 774) from Roosevelt Campobello International Park's Visitor Centre, Administration Building and Roosevelt Cottage. Driving from Lubec, Maine, continue past the Park's main entrance for approximately 450 m. The entrance to Wells-Shober Cottage will be on your right, immediately following a baseball field. Parking is available at Wells-Shober Cottage or the Visitor Centre.
