Looking for a Halloween night that’s anything but ordinary? Join us for a rooftop dance party overlooking Embassy Row in Washington DC with killer vibes, two live bands, and unforgettable views of DC’s skyline
Celebrate Halloween with a dance soiree under the stars featuring TWO live bands performing both swing and salsa music. The evening begins with swing and salsa dance lessons followed by a haunted battle of the bands as a swing and salsa band takes the stage to perform music for an unforgettable Halloween Soiree under the stars with spectacular views of the Washington DC skyline as a backdrop. Dance under the stars at one of DC’s most exclusive rooftop venues as you make new friends.
In the spirit of Halloween, we invite you to come dressed in your most creative costume with awards being given to the two best costumes! Our previous rooftop soirees sold out in advance, so please reserve your tickets now, as space is limited. The event is outdoors on the rooftop so please DRESS WARM!
Experience an unforgettable Halloween celebration at the Ven at Embassy Row, Washington DC’s premiere boutique hotel in the heart of Dupont Circle, for an unforgettable experience of networking and socializing as we present to you a dance soiree under the stars with dancing to live music with the Washington skyline as a spectacular backdrop.
As you meet other guests, enjoy Mojitos (while supplies last!), wine, cocktails, along with champagne available for purchase while you take in the rooftop’s relaxed ambiance. Join us at 6:30 PM to relax and meet other guests as we show you how to dance both swing and salsa or join us after 7:30 PM to dance to both a swing band and a salsa band under the stars. After the sunset, experience an evening of music and dancing to two live bands playing sounds of Havana along with swing dance music. If you sign up for the dance lessons, please make sure that you arrive by 6:40 PM as the lessons will conclude around 7:30 in time for dancing to live music.
Requested Attire
Cocktail attire requested. Halloween costumes are welcome. DRESS WARM because we'll be on the rooftop! All attendees must be 21 and over.
Attend on Your own or with Friends
You are welcome to attend on your own and new members are especially welcome! The event presents a wonderful opportunity to meet, network and socialize with other internationally minded professionals in town. If you are new to our organization or Washington DC this is a great opportunity to meet other like minded professionals in a friendly and relaxed setting.
Kindly note by purchasing a ticket, you accept responsibility to arrive for the event on time. Due to expenses incurred, we are unable to offer refunds if you are unable to attend the event for any reason. Purchase of tickets for the event constitutes your acceptance of our no-refund policy. Event details are subject to change as we continue to refine the event.
Rain Date Policy
In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors or rescheduled and any tickets purchased can be transferred towards attending a future event organized by us. Please check the event description for the event at https://www.internationalclubdc.com at 6PM on the day of the event for rain date policy announcements in the event of inclement weather. Kindly note that due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, a rain date policy decision may be made after 6PM or during the event, and if such a decision is made, your reservation can be transferred towards attending a future rooftop soiree at no additional cost, unless the event is moved indoors at our sole discretion. By purchasing a ticket you agree that no refunds will be offered if the event is rescheduled due to weather.
All ticket sales are final. No Refunds. Purchase of tickets constitutes your acceptance that In the event of inclement weather, you will receive an event credit towards attending a future event. If the event is postponed due to weather or other situation beyond our control, you can transfer your reservation towards attending any future similar event organized by the International Club of DC. No refunds will be offered due to a weather related event postponement but the amount paid can be applied towards any future event organized by us.
Tickets will be released to the person who purchased the tickets upon presenting photo ID. If you purchased more than one ticket, please arrive for admission with your guest(s)..
