Description
AMSEA and California Sea Grant are conducting a FREE Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor and Fishermen's First Aid and Safety Training (FFAST) class in Bodega Bay, California. This course is offered for FREE to commercial fishermen thanks to support from NIOSH, the U.S. Coast Guard, California Sea Grant and AMSEA members. This three-day course includes FFAST training on Days 1 and 2, followed by the FV Drill Conductor course on Day 3. Participants who complete the Drill Conductor course will receive a FREE Personal Flotation Device (PFD). Lunch and snacks will be provided, and the course will cover essential safety topics to improve on-the-water preparedness and response.
