Join us for a very special night of fairies & fun as the Blue Dragon presents 3 visiting bands from California: fairies, Bruised Banana, and Laura Lackey's rhythm review. Proceeds from ticket sales to benefit the Maui Strong Fund. Come in your favorite fun & festive fairy attire to receive special fairy treasures!
fairies- a 10-piece dance party band for your bare feet and naked soul. Original dance music played by and for people who aren't afraid to look and be happy even though the world is a mess. In fact, music makes it better! Influenced by everything- rock, disco, balkan, folk, jazz, mushrooms, weed, whatever - they've made an eclectic stew of their own genre—partypantsdancetrance! Find out for yourself : )
Bruised Banana- Chill jazz hangout vibes. Sweet and juicy like ripe mangos, or like….bruised bananas? These two young shredders will make you smile and keep you bouncing to bass, guitar and ukulele jams, grooves, and waves of sound.
Special guest Laura Lackey- Hot dance floor tunes! Swing and New Orleans Jazz to Blues, Gospel and originals! Laura has sung her way around California and Europe with a voice so sly she can turn it up to 11 inside your head and get you singing along!
Doors at 5:30pm...Show 6pm-9pm. Tickets $12 in advance...$15 at the door (fairies 12 and under are freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee).
