Valentin Kovalev joins the BCSO as it opens its 72nd concert season with Alexander Glazunov's Saxophone Concerto in E♭ major, Op. 109.  The program includes:

Felix Mendelssohn: The Hebrides Overture, Op. 26 (“Fingal’s Cave”)

Alexander Glazunov: Saxophone Concerto in E♭ major, Op. 109

Sebastian Grand, conductor

Peter Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64

José Luis Domínguez, conductor
