Description

Maestro José Luis Domínguez and the BCSO will present its Family Concert—Sweet Suites and Musical Treats—at Central Bucks High School East, as narrator Valerie Eastburn entertains the audience with captivating stories and fun facts while the BCSO plays nuggets from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker and other enthralling pieces.

What a wonderful way for the entire family to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment together! The program includes:

Igor Stravinsky: Suite No. 2 for Small Orchestra

Édouard Lalo: Cello Concerto in D minor (mvt. I)

Elijah Song, cello (Youth Concerto Competition Winner)

Peter Tchaikovsky: Selections from The Nutcracker

Leroy Anderson: Sleigh Ride

Two selections with band members from Central Bucks East (Jason Morehouse, director)
