About Sara:

Sara Police, PhD, is a mom, professor, yoga teacher, and… she loves lavender. With an academic background in nutritional sciences, she blends evidence-based research with the ancient wisdom of yoga, helping others cultivate balance in both body and mind. In classrooms at the University Of Kentucky or on her mat, her approach is rooted in science, movement, mindfulness and love. She believes that true wellness is multidimensional, nourishing not just the body, but the mind heart and spirit as well.   She is formally trained through the Kentucky Yoga Collective, and graduated with her 200-hour training in 2023; you can take her classes at Sterling Hot Yoga in Lexington or Body Shop Yoga Barre and Pilates in Nicholasville, KY.

Woodstock Lavender Co.

It started with $600. Our father and grandfather, L.G. Colyer, borrowed that sum to buy a farm in south-central Kentucky where our lavender plants now grow. During the Great Depression, he did not have the means to make the payments on his loan, so he traveled by train to Detroit to work for two years. The money he sent home to Kentucky would save this land and begin Woodstock Lavender Company’s legacy.

Today on the farm, we infuse our love of agriculture, our love of family and our love of our land into a rejuvenating home, body and kitchen product line. Responsibly sourced, authentic and effective, our products support fellow local growers and businesses that are making a difference in their communities. Woodstock Lavender Co. products are rooted in heritage and crafted with care. They will make you feel good about you, and the world around you.

We can't wait to see you!
