Description
Farm Preschool is a nature based program for parents and/or caregivers and children (ages 1-5) hosted on the farm at Keiki and Plow. This small group (15 max) program will run for 6 weeks with a purpose to nurture a child's curiosity, strengthen roots of connection to self, others, and nature while embracing the wild of these wonderful early years. This class also offers a supportive space for families to connect, discuss child development, rhythm and family life, and grow community.
During our morning together, you and your child will experience tending to the land, enjoy farm fresh snacks, engage in circle songs, stories, seasonal crafting and explore the uniquely playful learning environment that Keiki and Plow has to offer.

About our teacher:
Aloha! My name is Tuyet Dang and I am the Educator Coordinator here on the farm leading field trips for keiki of all ages throughout the school year. Beyond my time on the farm, I have approximately 9 years of experience as an educator andI have taught: preschool at the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of Missouri - St. Louis, Punahou as a kindergarten teacher during their summer session and most recently, Hanahauoli during the 2024 summer session.
My husband and I moved to Honolulu about 5 years ago from Los Angeles to raise our son, Holden, who is now 4 years old, alongside our big ohana. Leaving the city life for island living has been the best decision for our family. We love being able to connect with our aina and truly embracing what is important for our body and minds. Holden and I spent many days at Keiki and Plow when he was just a year old. We loved harvesting our own vegetables and really enjoyed the mud kitchen there! Working here at the farm now brings me so much joy knowing how much we have to offer to all our keiki!
I look forward to meeting you and your littles and embarking on a wonderful learning journey with you all! You may hear me on the farm with my ukulele so don’t hesitate to sing alongside with me!
