Join us for a wonderful weekend of creativity, togetherness and growth in the beautiful West
Kootenays. Whether you are travelling from afar or enjoying time in your own backyard, you will
find yourself transported to a place and time where you can truly be yourself, immersed in your
love of fibre arts, and be supported in your creativity by a common thread of the love of anything
fibre.
Come meet, mingle and learn with other fibre art enthusiasts during a series of workshops led
by local and guest instructors. You will have a chance to experience macrame, do needle
felting, to crochet and to knit new designs and learn new techniques,
Feel at home, sharing ideas, projects and locally prepared food, while making new friends. You
deserve that time, that space to learn, to share and to be your most creative self.
We can’t wait to see you!
Included in the weekend are all the materials, patterns and tools you will need. If you prefer,
you may bring along your own favourite tools. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks)
are provided, as well as appetizers and wine for Friday evening. You will need to advise us of
your dietary restrictions, if any, at the time of registration.
If you require accommodations, we urge you to organize your stay with a local hotel of your
choice, to ensure your needs are met. We have negotiated a lower rate with the Super 8 motel,
on your behalf, if you choose.
This fabulous retreat is comprised of three modules to best meet your needs. Option A goes
from Friday evening 6:00 pm until Saturday evening, after dinner, and includes workshops on
crochet, needle felting, macrame, fur recycling and wall art. Option B starts Saturday at 1:00
pm and continues until Sunday at 4:30 pm and is focused on knitting. Option C allows you to
stay the entire weekend and choose from all the fibre arts.

We will all be creating a feather string art piece centered onto a wood base ready for hanging.
