Description

This class will extend your cookery repertoire into exciting new terrain as we explore classic dishes from Uzbekistan.

You will work in pairs as you learn to cook traditional dishes from Uzbekistan - taste and learn how the nation's food has been influenced by many cultures from China to Turkey to Russia or even Korea.

A typical menu will include:

Chuchvara - A traditional Uzbek soup with dumplings

Tomato Dip - Served with traditional Uzbek bread seasoned with Zaartar

Your leader is keen home cook and baker Nigora, who grew up learning these dishes from her mother and grandmother in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She loves to share her joy for cooking with others, and particularly to bring Uzbek food to new people.
