Black Birch Vineyard is hosting a fleece making workshop for beginners and families on August 19th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. This hands-on workshop uses ancient techniques to transform fleeces into beautiful pieces of art. Come join us and learn the basics of this unique craft in a relaxed atmosphere with all the materials you need included! Whether you're just starting out or an experienced crafter, this class will offer something for everyone.
Leading the workshop is Johanna Hess, a felt-making artisan who has traveled the world and studied under some of the best in the industry. Through her guidance, you'll learn everything from how to clean and prepare the wool to various wet felting techniques to create your own vegan sheepskin.
