Description

This is a full day course for both experienced rescuers, new team members and those wishing to join the team.

To be able to rescue flying-foxes you are required to be fully vaccinated against Rabies with a proven titre.

$2 entrance fee payable at the door for Fauna Rescue Flying-fox Team members and any interested Fauna Rescue Members.

$25 entrance fee for non-members and those working for other wildlife groups. 

Tea & coffee will be provided

Morning Session 10am - 12.00pm 

Presentation covering :

Rescue of adult and orphaned Flying-foxes, barbed wire rescues, net entanglement rescues, ground and high rescues, electrocutions, observations and photographic records. Equipment requirements.

LUNCH

Afternoon Session : 12.30 -1.30pm

Microbat Rescues. Equipment requirements.

AFTERNOON TEA

 Afternoon Practical Session : 1.45pm - 3.30pm

Fauna Rescue of SA Inc is a not for profit organisation made up entirely of volunteers working from their own homes to rescue, rehabilitate and release Australia's native wildlife. We receive no government funding and must raise our funds through public donation and fundraising events.
