Description
Come and join us for a workshop on adoptions, trauma, identity. This informative workshop will use drama, physical movement and community building activities to explore the issues raised in our recent show 'For Three Refrigerators and a Washing Machine'. The workshop will be led by Laura Shipler Chico, actress and cast member of the show. Prior to becoming a professional actor, Laura was trained in counselling and trauma recovery. She has over 15 years of experience working in peace building and trauma healing in conflict zones on three continents. Laura will be accompanied by the director of the show and actress, Kyriaki Mitsou.
Everyone above the age of 14 years old can participate in the workshop and it is not a prerequisite to have watched the performance. Participants are advised to wear comfortable outfits. There will be coffee, tea and light snacks for our break and a lot of time for networking.
Kindly be advised to be at the King's Strand main reception 10' prior to the starting time of the workshop.
