Freestone Peaches and Grateful Tuna join forces to re-create the epic January 1971 concert run at the Fillmore West where the Allman Brothers and Hot Tuna brought the house down on three successive nights. Join us for the perfect, soul-satisfying summer night of music.
In late 1970, and into early 1971, Hot Tuna were working up the material that would be presented on their next few albums. Meanwhile, The Allman Brothers Band were perfecting the live show that would ultimately be recorded as At Fillmore East in July of 1971. In January of 1971 the two bands got together for a four show run in San Francisco at the fabled Fillmore West.
On August 20, 2024 Grateful Tuna & Freestone Peaches are presenting a celebration of that run at the Junction Beer Garden in Mill Valley.
