Fridays at 1PM - Beginner Wheel with Brooklynn & Anna -June/July

Class dates: June 7, 14, 21, 28, July 12, 19

 

This Beginner Wheel class is suitable for anyone over age 18 who is interested in learning how to throw on the pottery wheel.

 

Classes are every Friday from 1PM-3:30PM for 6 weeks,  Includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction each week, use of community tools, clay, and 2 finished pieces* each. Keep additional pieces* for $10 each. (*7 inches tall or wide, whichever is larger).  

 

About your teachers

 

Brooklynn has been creating with clay on the pottery wheel and handbuilding for 3 years. Her work features funky shapes and bold colors, and she enjoys helping students think creatively about their work. 

 

Anna has been making pottery for 8 years and has been a full time ceramic artist for over 3 years. She loves throwing pieces on the wheel and then sculpting on elements to each piece.
