Celebrate community and ecological stewardship at the Bayou St. John Friendsgiving Fundraiser on November 23rd, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM! This inaugural event, held in support of the Friends of Bayou St. John, is a unique opportunity to preserve and protect our beloved bayou while supporting the Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo Festival. Come out and enjoy a memorable evening of entertainment and giving back!

Event Highlights:

VIP Hour (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM): Begin the night with a special Friendsgiving experience, featuring complimentary food and cocktails.

Live & Silent Auctions: Bid on an exciting selection of local art, dining experiences, hotel stays, and more!

Performances: Enjoy live entertainment inspired by the spirit of the Bayou Boogaloo Festival. Music by: Ben Hunter, Big Chief Juan Pardo and Friends, and Inferno Burlesque

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fund crucial initiatives, including expanded litter cleanups, environmental education, native planting efforts, and a new hotline for reporting litter and invasive species in Bayou St. John. Your support will also help us make next year’s Bayou Boogaloo Festival the best one yet!

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •  We have a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
