Frontier Shadows: Ghost Tours at the Alexander Majors House blends historical insight with chilling tales, offering a unique perspective on the lives of those who shaped the Wild West of Kansas City. Bring your curiosity and courage for an evening where history and the supernatural intertwine, creating an unforgettable adventure through one of Kansas City’s most storied landmarks.
Features stories this year will be the abandonment of Major’s second wife, the tragic death of Benjamin Majors, and recent paranormal interactions with one of Major’s daughters. Tours will also include an adaptation of Roughing It by Mark Twain from the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival.
For the first time, a portion of the Alexander Majors Barn will be turned into a Spookeasy featuring historic Kansas City crimes, two drinks, and light snacks. Be warned – a password (and driver license) is needed to get in.
Tour only tickets are $15. Tickets for the tours and Spookeasy are $30.
