Description
Learn about creating a wildlife backyard environment with native vegetation and structures, with a focus on inviting birds and pollinators to your landscape! This class will begin with an informational presentation on creating a bird-friendly habitat, following by a brief break, before focusing on gardening for bees and butterflies. This lecture will include educational take-home resources for attendees as well as visual aids including nest boxes, bee boxes and more.

Stephanie Hazen is a retired veterinarian and current Master Gardener. She has volunteered for the Xerxes Society and Salem Audubon Society, and is passionate about creating bird and pollinator habitat, among her many interests.
