Barely out of high school, Garnet Rogers was on the road as a full-time working musician with his older brother Stan. Together they formed one of the most influential acts in North American folk music.

Garnet is a man with a powerful physical presence and a voice to match. New Song embodies the vitality and verve that made its predecessor, the original New Song Coffeehouse (1985–2008) in Bedford, Massachusetts, a much-beloved music venue for more than 20 years.

Entirely volunteer-run, we stage nine shows yearly featuring the best contemporary folk, Americana, and bluegrass performed by local, regional, and international talent. Our concerts are held in the historic Reed Room at Bedford Town Hall, offering superb acoustics in a comfortable setting.
