CHCA Teaching Kitchen
11525 Snider RoadEach camp will be 4 half days of hands on instruction in the teaching kitchen creating recipes from scratch. Students will learn a variety of cooking techniques including basic knife skills, baking, roasting, breading, measuring, as well as fundamentals of healthy eating.

Campers must wear closed toed shoes and long hair must be tied back.

Taste of Summer – lighter flavors and quicker cooking methods make cooking in the summer a real treat.
Day 1: Cucumber strawberry gazpacho, chicken and veggie skewers, peach cobbler
Day 2: Sparkling Limeade, steak burrito bowls, summer berry pudding
Day 3: Kale chips with lemony yogurt dip, chicken Ceasar wraps, strawberry granola crisp
Day 4: Blueberry French toast casserole, homemade breakfast sausage, fresh fruit popsicles
NOTE
We are able to accommodate some, but not all food allergies. IT IS THE PARENTS' RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE CAMP LEADER IN WRITING OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES THAT YOUR STUDENT MAY HAVE.
