Description
Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
If you see no reason for giving thanks,
the fault lies only in yourself.
- Anonymous and Tecumseh
If we live in a circle of gratitude, where sometimes we receive, and other times we give, then Thanksgiving is not a day, but rather, is a lifestyle. Join us this evening to give special focus to the many gifts that nature offers. Gifts that are given freely. But gifts require care and nurturing if they are to be enjoyed for years to come.
Stroll through the night forest using your heightened senses to find the gifts that await, and make them your own.
All ages are welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience. Wear footwear suitable for trail walking and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might be. Bring walking poles if you wish.
Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 6:00 PM.
Registration and pre-payment are required. These walks tend to fill up quickly, so we encourage you to register early.
In the event of severe weather, you will be notified of any changes via email and/or phone.
