About GREATNESS: Diverse Designers in Architecture
GREATNESS is a powerful tribute to the contributions of women and designers of color in shaping the built environment. The book highlights 40 groundbreaking U.S. and international projects that demonstrate how diverse perspectives foster dignity, well-being, and belonging in architecture.
Through innovative approaches to residential, cultural, institutional, and master plan design, GREATNESS addresses some of the industry’s most pressing issues, including housing injustice, redlining, and environmental sustainability. More than just a collection of projects, the book serves as both an inspiration and an invitation for progress—underscoring the urgent need for social justice through inclusion and advocating for systemic change.
