Join us in celebrating Tater & Spud’s second Groundhog’s Winter Festival! Groundhogs are a huge part of our state’s history as well as our farm and brewery. Come out to Port Farms & Poverty Knob on February 1st and 2nd for winter and groundhog themed activities! New in 2025: Enjoy a private sleigh ride through our tree plantation!
Private Sleigh Ride ($75). Price includes 4 people + 4 hot beverages.
Due to the limited rides available, payments are non-refundable unless canceled due to weather issues. If unable to attend you can switch your date and time up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled ride.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Well-behaved dogs are allowed!
- Rides will leave as scheduled (weather permitting).
- The sleigh is not handicap accessible.
- Bring blankets to keep warm on the ride.
- Sleigh rides will run with or without snow.
FESTIVAL LINE UP:
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1: 12-9PM
- Shop local vendors: 12-8PM
- Wagon rides every 30 minutes to The Knob: 12-4PM. ($2 per person, ages 2 and under are free).
- Horse-drawn sleigh rides: 12-5PM ($)
- Live ice carvings: 1-2PM & 3-4PM
- Long Road Home Band in Events Barn: 1-4PM
- DJ Razz: 2-5PM Tiki Bar (outside brewery)
- Live music by Polka Relations in Events Barn: 5-8PM
- 'Best Dressed' Contest with prize (groundhog & polka themed): Report to Events Barn at 4:30PM.
- Bon fires all day
- Feed the goats ($)
- Groundhog Day movie playing all day in brewery
- Specialty food & drinks ($)
- Groundhog cookie decorating ($)
- Hot cocoa bar ($)
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2: 12-7PM
- Shop local vendors: 12-7PM
- Horse-drawn sleigh rides: 12-5PM ($)
- Live ice carvings: 1-2PM & 3-4PM
- Wagon rides every 30 minutes to The Knob: 12-4PM. ($2 per person, ages 2 and under are free).
- Snowman building contest: 1-3PM (BYO materials & canister to collect votes). Weather permitting.
- Live music by Small Town Rollers: 12:30-3:30PM in Events Barn
- Live music by Me & The Boy: 2-5PM in brewery
- Live music by Jesse Weston: 4-7PM in Events Barn
- Bon fires all day
- Feed the goats ($)
- Groundhog Day movie playing all day in brewery

We do not charge admission during this festival. Port Farms' attractions are not open during this event.
