Bio: Lise Lorentzen’s journey with rosemaling began at the age of 11 when she attended her first class at a local Sons of Norway Lodge. Since then, her artwork has spread far and wide, gracing homes and collections across the U.S., Canada, Norway, and beyond. In 2024, she earned a prestigious gold medal in rosemaling from Vesterheim. Lise has had the privilege of learning from both Norwegian and American rosemaling masters, including an apprenticeship with Vesterheim Gold Medalist Eldrid Arntzen.
