Description
Port Townsend rose to prominence in the late 19th century as one of the busiest seaports on the West Coast—teeming with sailors and immigrants and dotted with mercantiles, saloons, factories, hotels, and brothels. Our popular Legends & Lore tour draws from some of the more infamous and mysterious stories in Port Townsend’s history, paired with historical investigation illuminating how we know what we know – and what may always remain a mystery. Our Halloween "remix" will blend the eerier stories of our Legends & Lore tour with fresh content to enhance the spooky side of this engaging and analytical program.
