All costumed-up with no place to go for Halloween? Jump over a broomstick and learn about why bobbing for apples was so important to Victorians, just how trick-or-treating as we know it came about, and many other tidbits during special Halloween-themed evening tours of the Avery House. These tours will be offered on Saturday, October 30, 2021, between 6:00 and 8:00 pm (with tours starting on the hour and half-hour; last tour starts at 8:00 pm.) Guests should check in at the Carriage House before starting their tour. Tickets include hot apple cider and a piece of pie. Masks required inside the Avery House.
