Handbuild a mug with Huckleberry Coffee Roasters and Community Clay - Feb 11

Description

Join HUCK and Community Clay for a collab made in heaven! Drink amazing fresh-brewed Huckleberry coffee while you handbuild a mug at Community Clay. 

 

Everything you need is provided: clay, tools, and of course COFFEE!

 

In about 2 weeks, you'll receive a bag of coffee with your finished mug. 

 

This is a one-time event. You'll build your mug and decorate it, we will glaze it for you and have it ready for pickup in approximately 2 weeks.
 

If you're new to pottery, handbuilding is a very approachable way to get to know clay as an artistic medium. 
 

Includes 3 hours of hands-on instruction, use of community tools, clay, Amaco Velvet underglazes, and firing for the finished project. 

 

Handbuilding, which includes slab building, pinching, and coiling, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, NOT a pottery wheel.
