Description

These ceramic shelves/curio cabinets can sit on a table top or be hung on a wall. This one-time class will provide you all the tools and instruction you need to create your masterpiece! Check out our Pinterest board of ideas. 
 

This project is to make 1-2 wall or tabletop shrines. 
 

This is a one-time event. You'll build your project and decorate it, we will glaze it for you and have it ready for pickup in approximately 2 weeks.
 

If you're new to pottery, handbuilding is a very approachable way to get to know clay as an artistic medium. 
 

Includes 3 hours of hands-on instruction, use of community tools, clay, Amaco Velvet underglazes, and firing for the finished project. 

 

Handbuilding, which includes slab building, pinching, and coiling, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, NOT a pottery wheel.
